Rectory Close

In 1975   The Housing Executive negotiated with the Church bodies for a site for twelve   new houses to be erected on Glebe land. The price agreed for the land was   £9,500. This development was aptly named Rectory Close, following a naming   competition won by a Miss Catherine Vallely, who lived nearby in Glebe   Lane.
